My name’s Carrie and I’m a destination wedding and elopement photographer!

Although I’m based in Southern California, I’m inspired by traveling and experiencing new places and I happily photograph couples in epic destinations all over the world. When you hire me as your photographer, not only will I give you amazing photos to remember your day by, but I will also guide you and help throughout the planning process. I want to get to know you so that I can make your experience as meaningful as possible and capture photos that truly feel like YOU.

What exactly is an elopement?

An elopement is an intimate wedding day experience that is focused on YOU. A day that is intentionally planned to be a reflection of your relationship and what truly matters. Eloping doesn’t mean you’re running away in secret or that you can’t afford a big wedding or that you have to have a day that’s any less special than a traditional wedding. It’s about making the day you commit yourselves to each other truly the best day ever. That will look different for every couple, but that’s one of the best parts of elopements — there are no rules!

“If you are looking for a photographer that is super kind, talented and passionate- Carrie is your girl!

Me and my partner (who recently eloped) booked a spontaneous, last-minute trip to San Diego and had the idea of taking advantage of the beautiful scenery by having a marriage photo-shoot. Because I only had 2 weeks to attempt to find a photographer, I knew it was possible that it was too late to make it happen. I reached out to a handful of photographers hoping someone would be quick to respond and available. To my surprise, my top choice (Carrie!!) responded first AND was so willing to fit us in. She was coincidentally in San Diego the weekend we were going (fate?!) and although she already had several other shoots planned, she was excited to book us into her busy schedule. Me and my partner are not the best at posing and can be very awkward (I laugh way too much) but Carrie was so down to earth and made us feel comfortable. Even my partner enjoyed the whole experience, and he doesn't like getting his photo taken! The photos are so so stunning, my coworker actually cried when she saw them! Ha! These photos are extra special for us, since we tend to take more photos of each other than photos together, so we will forever cherish these! Carrie is such a delight and I wish I had another reason to book a photo-shoot with her again!”
